Inna Dubinsky has been with VOA’s Russian Service since 1993, as a host of the live daily radio call-in show which was one of the most popular Russian Service programs for 10 years. With the inclusion of television service at VOA, she became a video journalist. As the media continued to evolve, she took the role as the special correspondent and assignments editor of the Russian Service Internet web page.
With PhD in Foreign Language Communication, Inna came to VOA from the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA, where she was a Russian Coordinator and Russian Area Studies lecturer. She continued her collaboration with DLI on educational projects such as Russian curriculum development and foreign language training techniques research. She is a member of the American Association of Teachers of Slavic and East European Languages.
