Executive Director, Oanh Tran manages USAGM’s internal workflow and official communications with other federal agencies; directs management functions and facilitates the CEO’s responsibilities for formulating, coordinating, and communicating major policy decisions; and leads the Agency’s Board operations. Moreover, Tran serves as USAGM’s first-ever Executive Secretary, overseeing an Executive Secretariat.
Tran has over 25 years in the U.S. Government and has served in a number of previous, key roles at the Agency, including most recently as Managing Director. She has a master’s degree in Public Administration and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia.
