Media in Conflict: The Evaluation Imperative
“Media in Conflict: The Evaluation Imperative” looks at the increasingly central role of media interventions in conflict management, and the need to improve our ability to monitor and evaluate their impact. At this event, experts from the United States Broadcasting Board of Governors, The Center for Global Communication Studies at the Annenberg School for Communication, University of Pennsylvania, Fondation Hirondelle, Internews Network, and the United States Institute of Peace will present recommendations for grappling with this pressing challenge in their collaborative report titled “Caux Guiding Principles.”
Keynote remarks will be delivered by David Ensor, Director of Voice of America and former Director of Communications and Public Diplomacy at the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan.
Bruce Sherman, Director of Strategic Planning & Performance Measurement at Broadcasting Board of Governors, also joined the panel discussion of “Caux Guilding Principles”.
