United States Agency for Global Media

Our Work

USAGM networks are news leaders, uncovering stories left untold in environments that lack press freedom. Major media often pick up or cite our networks’ news coverage. We serve 420 million in 100 countries and 63 languages every week.

USAGM's Office of Technology, Services and Innovation's mission is to distribute content created by the networks to their audiences in the most cost-effective, reliable and efficient way.

USAGM trains hundreds of journalists, editors, broadcasters and media managers each year under its authority to support freedom of information around the world.

To ensure it achieves its mission, USAGM measures more than just audience size; it must intimately understand how its networks are affecting the lives of their audiences. The feedback gained from this impact measurement plays a crucial role in the development of the Agency’s strategy and planning.
