Nigerian Vice President Namadi Sambo makes a courtesy call at VOA headquarters in Washington on April 16, 2012. Mr. Sambo, Nigeria’s US Ambassador Ade Adefuye and other officials, held private talks with VOA Director David Ensor and the BBG Director of Strategy and Development, Bruce Sherman, and met with VOA Africa Division staff. Mr. Sambo, in the United States for talks with Obama administration officials, also took part in a call-in program on VOA’s Hausa Service, which reaches an estimated 26% of Nigeria’s population each week.
