Iran’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology is aware that satellite jamming is taking place over Iran, and is in “serious” pursuit of the culprits.
The head of the Iranian health committee is aware of the jamming and says the aforementioned minister knows who’s behind it.
Iran’s Communication Regulatory Authority is aware of the jamming, too.
But nobody seems to know exactly who is responsible.
In a twist, more and more concerns are being raised about the potential health effects of the jamming on citizens of Tehran, as Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty’s Golnaz Esfandiari reports in her blog Persian Letters.
