September Meeting of the Broadcasting Board of Governors
Washington, D.C. — The Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG) will meet on Thursday, September 13 at BBG headquarters in Washington, D.C. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 4:45 p.m.
The Board will receive budget and distribution/technology initiatives updates, receive and consider a progress report from the Strategy and Budget Committee, receive recommendations from the Governance Committee regarding grantee administrative streamlining and hear reports from the director of the International Broadcasting Bureau and other BBG broadcast executives regarding agency activities and programming initiatives.
The BBG will also recognize the anniversaries of broadcast language services and consider resolutions honoring employees for their service.
The public may attend this meeting as seating capacity allows.
