Springfield, Va.–Arabic-speakers around the world now have a better way to get the latest news and information through Alhurra.com and RadioSawa.com mobile sites. The new sites make Alhurra.com and RadioSawa.com more accessible and easier to share information among mobile users.

RadioSawa.com has been a repeat winner of the Pan Arab Web Awards and has been recognized for its interactivity (2012), design and development (2009). According to international research firms such as ACNielsen, Alhurra and Radio Sawa have a weekly reach of approximately 31 million people. They are operated by the non-profit corporation “The Middle East Broadcasting Networks, Inc.” (MBN). MBN is financed by the U.S. Government through a grant from the Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG), an independent federal agency. The BBG provides oversight and serves as a firewall to protect the professional independence and integrity of the broadcasters.
