BBG to Examine Middle East Broadcasting and Regional Perceptions of the U.S.
WASHINGTON – The Broadcasting Board of Governors will meet at the Springfield, VA, headquarters of the Middle East Broadcasting Networks on February 25. In addition to board business, the meeting will include an in-depth examination of Alhurra Television and Radio Sawa and feature a panel discussion on perceptions of the United States throughout the Middle East.
The public may attend any or all of these sessions in person as seating capacity allows. Registration to attend is available here, and must be completed by 12:00 p.m. (EST) on February 24. The meeting will also be streamed live on the BBG website, www.bbg.gov.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. Additional information, including any updates or adjustments to its starting time, will be posted on the BBG website.
