BBG to mark Disability Employment Awareness Month
The Broadcasting Board of Governors, in partnership with the Southwest Interagency Committee, will hold its National Disability Employment Awareness Month celebration on October 27 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cohen Building.
The program, titled “Expect. Employ. Empower.” will feature a keynote address by Edward “Ed” Crenshaw, a leading disability awareness expert and opening remarks by Voice of America Director David Ensor.
The goal of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, which takes place each October, is to educate about disability employment issues and celebrate the many and varied contributions of America’s workers with disabilities.
