Springfield, VA — Alhurra Television’s program Sit B’Mit Ragel (Arabic for ‘A Lady is Worth 100 Men’), launches its second season on Saturday, October 1 at 10 p.m. (Cairo time). The program focuses on successful Egyptian women who work relentlessly to achieve their goals and prove that a lady can be worth 100 men. It tells the inspiring stories of four women making their dreams come true despite the odds, and sheds light on the obstacles they face throughout their journey.
“We are very excited about the launch of season two of Sit B’Mit Ragel. The success of season one led us to bring more stories of Egyptian entrepreneurial women who are determined on overcoming all challenges to reach their goals,” stated Brian Conniff, President of Middle East Broadcasting Networks (MBN). MBN manages and oversees Alhurra. “Alhurra has always been the leading channel in the Middle East that focuses on female empowerment and their role in building societies.”
