Broadcast Management: Zambia

Radio and television executives from Zambia, Malawi and Lesotho participated in a workshop in Lusaka, Zambia, Oct. 23-26, 2016, on station management, sales, and personal time management.

Among the specific subjects covered were: strategic planning, station organization, recruitment and training of sales agents, effective compensation structures, client orientation, sales ethics, broadcast standards, sales presentations, the importance of attitude and motivation, and daily and weekly work organization.

Workshops were conducted in the use of electronic calendars and to-do lists.
