Haiti: Better use of social media

October 2017

In October 2017, more than 25 journalists from across Haiti attended a training in Port-Au-Prince that focused on TV production and better ways to use social media.

With the support from the U.S. embassy, the training provided journalists a better understanding of social media.

VOA staff Sandra LeMaire, Jean-Michel Mathurin, and Ronald Cesar trained reporters, directors, administrators, and students on how to use mobile devices to produce and edit content.

To wrap up, BBG/VOA distributed small equipment items such as headphones and CD players provided by TSI.
