Ellington Kamba, a Research Analyst at USAGM, trained fifteen VOA affiliates from Sierra Leone and Monrovia in how to do no- or low-cost audience research, and measure the effect that the actual storytelling has on the audience. Trainees learned how audience measurements reveal whether people are engaging with the content that their media organizations produce. Two 2-day training programs were held on October 8-9 in Freetown, Sierra Leone, and on October 13-14 in Monrovia, Liberia.
