As the host of Border Crossings, VOA’s daily interactive radio music show celebrating its 20th year on air, Larry London has interviewed more than 2,000 music and entertainment industry celebrities including Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Adele, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Alicia Keys, Quincy Jones, and many other notables. London began his radio broadcasting career 40 years ago as a high school sophomore at Oak Park High School in Michigan. Prior to VOA, London was on air in major US cities, including Detroit, St. Louis, Boston, Los Angeles, and Tampa. He worked in Hollywood at the Unistar Radio Network for show business legend Dick Clark, hosting a daily evening program while serving as Music Director at the network. He has also been an on-air host and Program Director in Asia, working in China, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. He attended Oakland University in Michigan and Northwestern University in Illinois. He taught Radio Broadcasting at Tarkio University in St. Louis and at the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in Arlington, Virginia.
