Federal Employee Viewpoint Surveys

The Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS), conducted by the Office of Personnel Management, is a tool that measures employees’ perceptions of whether, and to what extent, conditions characterizing successful organizations are present in their agencies. Survey results provide valuable insight into the challenges agency leaders face in ensuring the federal government has an effective civilian workforce and how well they are responding.

2021 survey results

USAGM analyzes the results of the annual survey each year and determines strategies and sets goals to improve workforce engagement and satisfaction. Although many scores across the U.S. government went down, USAGM’s overall survey results improved since 2020. To build on this progress, we are carefully evaluating these FEVS results and creating a roadmap to address areas for improvement, while strengthening transparency and accountability across the board.
