As an agency of the federal government, USAGM is committed to complying with environmental and energy statutes, regulations, and executive orders (EOs). In addition, the agency is committed to developing a better understanding of the effects of climate change, and addressing climate change adaptation.
In keeping with this commitment, USAGM has prepared an executive summary highlighting the challenges it faces and the successes it has achieved in implementing the various requirements of strategic sustainability. The executive summary also highlights USAGM’s future plans for strategic sustainability.
Though a small agency, we will continue to explore and implement various strategies over the next several years that, if successful, will improve USAGM’s energy posture and enable it to better meet the challenging goals established by EO 13693 — Planning for Federal Sustainability in the Next Decade.
